The PWA qualifiers finished yesterday, so after a week of crap weather, it all improved today right on cue! It was my first ¥big kit¥session in Tarifa... Got out & back through nasty shore break with no problems, pulled of a few tacks... was all pretty good, but uphauling the 6.8 was jolly hard work. The high point was watching some macho nutter trying to make a wave board work. He was slogging through syrup, while I bimbled past nonchalantly on my outdated and very untrendy log, giving a cheery nod & wave as I passed... :-)
